  Our Beginnings
After three decades of pursuing only the highest standards of service in medicine and healthcare, the city of Las Piñas now boasts of having in its midst one of the best-equipped, tertiary medical centers in the Philippines.
The University of Perpetual Help Dalta Medical Center was first envisioned by its founders -- Dr. Antonio Laperal Tamayo, his wife Dr. Daisy Moran-Tamayo, and their close friend and associate Ernesto Palanca Crisostomo -- to be the realization of a longtime dream to pioneer quality health care in the rustic areas of South Metro Manila. What they first built as a modest 2-story community hospital in 1975, housing a mere 50 beds with a daily occupancy rate of 10 to 12 patients, today provides exemplary healthcare and medical service to a much higher community -- the Filipino People.
From the hospital's medical and administrative staff, employees and volunteer groups, it has been a 30-year journey of continuous growth and development, and of passionate service in a compassionate environment.
