1. What do I get if after 1 year, I have not availed of the membership benefits under the Family Ties- Travel Assistance Program?

There is no benefit after the expiration of one year coverage. Coverage continues upon payment of the subscription fee on or before its due date.

2. Can I possibly enroll non-family members under the Program?

There is a need to appreciate the circumstances of why the Overseas Filipino would like to return when a non-family member passes away or becomes terminally ill. Once established, Manor will contact the Overseas Filipino of their acceptance.

3. Once I have submitted my subscription form and paid the subscription fee, are my enrolled family members immediately covered?

Yes, since you have declared that these enrolled members are in good health at the time you filled up the subscription form.

4. What is the next step after I have submitted my subscription form and paid the subscription fee?

We will issue a Subscription Agreement that will incorporate the membership benefits explained to you and the list of family members accepted in the program.
A subscriber’s guide will also be issued as reference to the Subscriber in processing possible availment of the benefits.

6. How sure am I that I can avail of the enumerated benefits?

The only reason that you may not be entitled to the enumerated benefits is if you wrongfully indicated that the family member you have enrolled was in good health as of the date you completed the subscription form.

7. If for some reasons I will not be able to return to the Philippines if my enrolled family member passes away, do I forfeit the round trip ticket?

No benefit will be forfeited. While we would encourage you to return to be with your loved ones at this special time, we will convert the round trip airline ticket for its monetary value and pay the proceeds per your given written nstruction. Likewise, the cash assistance will be settled per your written instruction.

8. Why are not all expenses pertaining to my return to the Philippines not fully covered?

There will be difficulty in identifying and documenting all expenses incurred to return and also for a more precise way of computing the necessary subscription fees, only the cost of the round trip airline ticket has been factored in. Note that other travel related expenses can be sourced from the cash assistance that will be paid upon arrival in the Philippines.

9. What are the basic documents that have to be submitted to Manor for the processing of my availment of benefits?

Manor has to be informed of the details pertaining to the passing away or of the terminal illness findings to make its assessment. Basic documents will be a certified copy of the death certificate and attending physician statement.

10. If I have availed of the benefit of one of my children under the family subscription fee, are my other enrolled family members still covered?

Yes, they are all covered up to the end of the one (1) year period from the effectivity of your subscription. Your payment of the subscription fee every year will ensure continuous coverage of your qualified family member enrolled in the program.

11. What happened if my entire enrolled family members pass away in an accident?

Each of them are provided with coverage. If say the family enrolled is composed of a spouse and 4 children, you will be entitled to 5 round trip tickets and a cash assistance of P200,000 per family member or a total of P1 million under the Comprehensive Subscription. Since you may not use all 5 round trip tickets, the unused tickets can be converted to its cash equivalent.

12. How do I renew my subscription before the end of the 1 year period?

One month before the expiry of the 1 year membership, Manor will communicate with you the necessary subscription fee to be paid on or before the expiry date so as to have continuous coverage.
